BCD Makes ‘Turnkey’ GetGoing Platform Available in U.S.

BCD Travel has launched GetGoing, its digital platform for small and midsize clients, in the United States, the travel management company announced.

GetGoing, first launched in Germany last year, provides a booking platform, a reporting tool, traveler safety information and policy automation capabilities as well as support from BCD experts on travel and booking assistance, budgeting and emergency support, according to BCD. It aims to “offer the fast-growing small and midsize market a self-service solution to manage all aspects of business travel,” according to BCD Travel midmarket division president David Mitchell, who also is the executive lead for GetGoing in the U.S.

BCD is pricing GetGoing in three tiers, the first of which is a “Go Free” version that provides access to BCD-negotiated and GetGoing-exclusive content, basic travel policy settings, a pre-trip approval flow, a traveler tracking map and service and support by phone, email, chat and WhatsApp. Access to live agents incurs a support request fee.

The next tier, “Go Travel,” has a $4.95 per trip fee and enables companies to load their own fares and rates, access unused ticket tracking software, apply advanced policy settings, receive more detailed reporting and access additional payment and safety and security options.

BCD’s third tier is not yet available, but it will include an integrated expense module. Mitchell told The Beat earlier this week that should be available in the first half of next year and will integrate with Numiga, a Germany-based expense management provider owned by BCD.

BCD is positioning GetGoing as a “turnkey” solution for clients that do not need customized programs, and accounts can be set up in a matter of minutes, according to the TMC.
